  The best way to view, pack or unpack archives is to use FAR manager plus to have all known archivators in the path. Then you can explore your zips by hitting enter (like DIR's), view files by hitting F3, copy somewhere by F5, remove files from zips F8 (or Del).

Download file bellow in one or apart and copy to PATH directory. In DOS prompt tape PATH and then copy files to one of these dirs. (If u not a Lamer)

ARCS.EXE - self-extracting contains arj, zip, rar (all longnames supported 32bit) lha, ha, pak, zoo.

Commands in prompt (file.xxx - your file name) for more help just enter arc.prog. name.

UNPACK:
pkunzip -d file.zip
arj x -v -y file.arj

PACK:
pkzip file.zip *.*     -to zip all files in dir or
pkzip file.zip [file1, file2, ... , file3]
arj a -v1400K file.arj *.* -rip apart archive on floppy

You may take WinZip, ZipFolder for your needs (worx with zips only?) or WinRar, WinArj.

Somethin'Special:
Shrinker is excellent program for compressing Windows executables. It may decrease the size of EXE file up 50% of original. For example I test Shrinker on CorelDRAW 7.0 executable. The result was great- from +10Mb the output was 4.7Mb, isn't that great :)
